The Municipality of Chegutu Councillors led by His Worship Cllr Henry Muchatibaya and staff took time off their busy schedules to tour some of the hot spots in different parts of the town.
Tour of Projects
A team comprising the Mayor, Councillors, Acting Town Clerk, and officials embarked on an assessment tour of ongoing Council infrastructural projects within the Municipal area on the 22nd July 2021, to get an update on implementation progress vis-à-vis set targets.
Construction of the Chegutu Seventh Day Adventist University Campus
Significant progress has been posted so far on construction of the Chegutu Seventh Day Adventist University campus.
Commencement of construction works at the Chegutu Adventist University stand
The Seventh Day Adventist Church has commenced construction works of its University campus in Chegutu at a piece of land donated by Chegutu Municipality.
Rehabilitation of the Municipal Road Network
Chegutu Municipality has embarked on an extensive programme to rehabilitate the Municipal road network which was seriously affected by the heavy rains experienced during the 2020-2021 rainy season.

Chegutu Municipality hosted a team of officials from the Provincial Development Coordinator’s Office from the 24th-26th March 2021, led by the Director in the Provincial Development Coordinator’s Office, Madam Cecilia Chitiyo.
