Chegutu Municipality participated at the 2018 Edition of the Local Government Investment Conference (LOGIC) held from the 16th to 18th October 2018 at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair, Bulawayo.

Chegutu Municipality hosted the annual Chegutu District Sports, Arts and Culture Festival on the 3^rd November 2018 at Pfupajena Stadium. Various sporting teams drawn from the District competed in the available sporting categories such as soccer, netball, chess etc. The festival is held every year as part of Chegutu Municipality’s delivery of social services. Various companies such as Zimplats, Tripple C, Chicken Inn, Global Platinum Resources, Rock Chemical Fillers, Dandy Zimbabwe, among others.
