As confirmed cases of Covid-19 continue to increase country-wide, Chegutu Municipality has sustained its efforts towards implementing preventive measures against infections.

The Municipality recently procured 10 motor bikes, some of which would be used by the Environmental Health field personnel for health education campaigns and inspection of premises to ensure compliance with the Municipal Public Health By-laws. Efforts towards ensuring sustained and consistent clean water provision continue to be applied to enhance hand washing and general sanitation within the communities. With the continued support and cooperation from the citizens of Chegutu, containment of the disease within the Municipal area should be achievable.
