On 8 and 9 November 2019 Chegutu Municipality participated in the Inter-Cities sports festival which was hosted by Marondera Municipality.

The festival was held at the Rudhaka Stadium, Marondera Community Hall and Ruware Primary school. Chegutu municipality participated in disciplines such as Chess, Netball, Soccer, Pool, tug of war and darts. The Council teams managed to win Silver medals in Soccer as well as Bronze in Pool and Gold in Chess. Team Chegutu did Council proud……Again…...
