Chegutu Mayor's Netball Tournament

The Chegutu Mayor’s Netball Tournament was held on the 1st December 2018 at Pfupajena Stadium. This is an annual tournament sponsored by Chegutu Municipality through the Mayor’s Office.

Teams that participated in the tournament included ZRP Queens, Chirikure Queens, Ching Ford Queens, Nehanda Queens, Chegutu Municipality Queens, Team A and B and ZRP Queens. Chegutu Municipality Queens Team A won the tournament and received a gold medal while ZRP came second and won a silver medal. The tournament was graced by His Worship, the Mayor of Chegutu, Cllr. H. Muchatibaya and other Councillors. The Municipality invites other sponsors to assist in the successful hosting of the 2019 edition of the tournament, which is expected to rope in various other netball teams within the Chegutu District.
