Chegutu Municipality participated at the 2018 Edition of the Local Government Investment Conference (LOGIC) held from the 16th to 18th October 2018 at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair, Bulawayo.

The conference afforded the Municipality to showcase the investment opportunities within the town to prospective investors as part of efforts towards attracting investment into the Municipal area. Business opportunities within the town include development of high-rise residential flats, development of a road port, development of high and low density residential stands, recycling of liquid and solid waste, development of public lighting infrastructure, construction of schools, among others. During the conference, most investors made inquiries on land-development projects and discussions were still in progress towards implementing PPPs on land development.
